Upcoming event - DPI Briefing: Implementing the Responsibility to Protect: The Role of Civil Society and Member States

On 14 March 2013, ICRtoP Deputy Director Sapna Considine will participate on a panel during a civil society briefing organized by the Department of Public Information (DPI), entitled “Implementing the Responsibility to Protect: The Role of Civil Society and Member States”.
 
The event will take place from 10:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. at the Salvation Army located at 221 E 52nd Street in New York. Sapna will speak on the important role civil society plays in advancing the Responsibility to Protect norm (RtoP, R2P), and will be joined on the panel by several other experts from civil society and the United Nations.
