On the Front Lines: Gender, War, and the Post-Conflict Process

This event will include a panel discussion moderated by Professor Sheri Rosenberg, Director of the Program in Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Studies at the Cardozo School of Law. Featured panelists will include Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, Dorsey & Whitney Chair in Law University of Minnesota & Professor of Law University of Ulster; Dina Francesca Haynes, Professor of Law and Director of Human Rights and Immigration Law Project at New England Law ; and Dr. Aisling Swaine, Visiting Scholar at the Transitional Justice Institute at the University of Ulster and Consultant to UN Women. 
 
The panel will focus on the roles of women in conflict and throughout the post-conflict process particularly in light of the book "On the Front Lines" co-authored by Professors Ní Aoláin and Haynes.
