Media Advisory: Quotes, Reactions to President's Holocaust Memorial Speech Available Monday

"On Monday, President Obama will speak at the Holocaust Memorial Museum and announce the creation of a new Atrocities Prevention Board and other elements of a strategy to prevent and respond to genocide and mass atrocities.  After the President speaks, the following experts from member organizations of the Prevention and Protection Working Group* are available for comment:"

Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism: Rabbi David Saperstein
Director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism working on social justice issues including preventing mass atrocities and genocide. In 1999, Rabbi Saperstein was elected as the first Chair of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and in 2009, he was appointed by President Obama as a member of the first White House Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
