Coalition members the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect and the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, coalition and ICRtoP Steering Committee members, respectively, released a joint policy brief outlining China’s treatment of its Uighur population and their response to international pressure. The report finds the government’s actions may constitute crimes against humanity and offers recommendations for how to address ongoing human rights violations.
